The Little Gymnast

Aven attended her friend Sophia's birthday party and couldn't get enough of the balance beam.

She was quite adventurous, in fact, trying tricks that only the bigger kids were willing to try.

But Aven also loves those bubbles!

A close-up!

Preppy Rory

Rory is ready for the St. Patrick's Day Party at her friend Aidan's house. She's got her sparkly shoes, white pants, turned-up lapels, and an iPod blasting tunes from the new Disney movie, Tangled ... her new favorite.

The Sick House

This past Thursday, Rory woke up with both a stomach bug and strep throat! It totally sapped her spunkiness ...
... and her appetite. Who turns away when dinner consists of cinnamon toast in the shape of a butterfly? (Side note: Rory later asked for celery!)
The poor girl has alternated between naps on the couch and princess videos ... we've watch 8 videos this weekend.
Unfortunately, Aven picked up the stomach bug. And although she's puking too, it hasn't altered her mood. She's been as perky as ever ...
...did I say perky? Okay, even by dinner, Aven has been more than ready for bed.

Spunky Rory

These are shots of my spunky, flirtatious, silly, and adorably daughter.
Did I say "adorable"?... Power to the People!
I am posting these photos knowing that days later Rory's spunkiness would be sapped fighting both a stomach bug and stret throat. They are quite a contrast to the more recent blog posting.
Rory's spunkiness doesn't stand in the way of her cradling her sister and feeding her breakfast while the two of them watch "Timmy Time" on Disney Junior.

St. Patrick's Day Parade

The O'Hara clan ventured down to Old Town last weekend to participate in the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Aven waves to the Irish ambassador, who attends this event every year, which is the earliest St. Patrick's Day parade in the nation.
Aven thinks that's pretty cool. She also thought that our Irish accessories (from Grandma) were pretty cool.

The Nameless One

"Hi, it's me. It's been 670 days since I was born, and I am still refusing to say my name."
"Don't get me wrong, I can say the name of everyone else in my family and school. I mean, I am super woman."
"When Daddy asks me my name, I just wink and say me or you or I or baby. He thinks that is soooo funny."
"I can even say, Where are you, Meow? I mean, I am Super A ..."

Rory and Aven

Rory shows Aven the view from the top of the slide...
...and how to ride that slide all the way to the ...
... bottom. Wipe out!
Crazy hair. Look familiar?
After a workout at the playground, Rory shows Aven her new favorite movie, the Wizard of Oz.
Sisters.

Gal Pals

Rory had back-to-back birthday parties recently ... such a popular kiddo!

Here she is with her "hello kitty" gal pals.
But her favorite gal pal is still her Mommy.
