Cruise Fun

One of the small highlights of our cruise was returning to our stateroom to discover a new "towel creature" on our beds.
Here, Aven is on the wrong end of a pillow fight with her sister.
Mommy and Rory show us their best Queen and Princess poses in the royal chair at the Atlantis Resort.
Aven skipped the seafood and went straight for the mustard.
Rory acquired a souvenier at Ron Jon's famous surf shop ... her very own "surfer girl"!

Cruise Layover at Cocoa Beach

Rory ran all over the beach!...
... while Aven -- normally our super crawler -- preferred to say on the beach towel, safe from that strange looking sand.
Did I mention that Rory liked the sand?

Cruise Dancing

Among other fun activities, our girls enjoyed plenty of dancing on their cruise, particularly with Mommy.
Here, Mommy shows Rory how to twirl her dress on the dance floor.
Their fancy moves caught the attention of a little Snow White.
And Rory's pretty necklace sealed the deal ...
... giving her two friends to rock the boat with.
A little too much rocking had these girls giggling with delight.
Don't worry about Aven ... she found a dance partner of her own.

The Cruise Begins

To celebrate Grandma Judy's 60th birthday, her kids and grandkids enjoyed a cruise together!
We sailed from Baltimore, visited Florida and Bermuda, and returned 7 days later.
Rory and Aven had a wonderful time on the "humongous boat" (Rory's description), while ...
... Sarah enjoyed the chance to relax, thanks to all of the help we had with those little chickens (thanks everyone!).
For Aven, it was a chance to experience her first dip in a pool.
She took a few minutes to warm to the new experience, and then ...
... and then decided that the pool was pretty cool. (Unfortunately, we were informed shortly thereafter that babies weren't allowed in the pool.)
But there was no holding Rory back from the pool, especially with her new ballerina bathing suit!
This was one excited swimmer, who insisted that her Daddy accompany her in the (chilly) pool each morning.
More photos to come!
