Hurricane Activities

Ha! Aven laughs in the face of Irene, the mean hurricane who made her way up the East Coast recently.

We thought it might be fun to use the forced indoor time to potty train Aven. As it turns out, we had more water damage from Aven than we did Irene.

And even though the potty training wasn't quite as successful as we had hoped, Rory was super helpful, drafting this potty chart for her little sister.

Mommy was a good sport, spending quite a lot of time in the bathroom and cleaning Aven's new underwear.

Rory undertook her own experimentation, growing crystals and making bases with her home laboratory and science kit.
