These are a few of my favorite things

What a weekend! Every day, new gifts to open! Aven was a lucky little birthday girl.
She played with her new music box and monkey-in-the-box.

She taught Rory a thing or two about puzzle solving.
Aven nursed her new duckie, who quacked when he was hungry.
And Aven got a dog from Uncle Michael!... well, at least a visit from his dog, Wrigley.
Aven shrieked with delight when she saw that Mommy and Daddy had gotten her a new pair of wheels.
Rory didn't leave the weekend empty handed. Among other gifts, she took a spin in her new hullahoop.
When we told her that there were no more presents to open, Aven simply collapsed in exhaustion amidst the leftover wrapping paper.
Fortunately, she had her grandma in town to nurse her back to health.
